Comal ISD is hosting a summer job fair with an 'Experience the Ride' event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at its Support Services building in New Braunfels.

For six years, Davenport High School has been 'building the pack,' or as the community likes to say, 'BTP,' creating opportunities for students to find their passions in sports, fine arts, academics, CTE and more. Those efforts have paid off with Davenport earning the coveted 2026 Texas UIL 4A Lone Star Cup, which is based on team performance in district and state championships.

Comal ISD is one of only 39 districts named a Texas Way District of Distinction for its commitment to developing student-athletes not only as competitors, but as leaders and role models in their communities.

Comal ISD is proud to announce its most recent graduates who have chosen to serve in the military through enlistment, receiving an ROTC scholarship or by appointment to a military academy.

Six Comal ISD recent graduates are among 36 students across Texas’ 21st congressional district to receive the 2026 Exceptional Senior Award from U.S. Representative Chip Roy. These honorees were Nominated by their schools for their high levels of character, leadership, integrity and diligence.
