Thirty-seven Comal ISD Students Completed Texas Boys State and Texas Bluebonnet Girls State

Comal ISD was well represented at this summer’s Texas Boys State and Texas Bluebonnet Girls State programs with 18 boys and 19 girls participating in each.

Students in 8th through 12th grades are invited to Comal ISD's annual College, Career and Military (CCM) Fair 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Davenport High School. See the list of colleges, businesses and military recruiters who will be on hand.

Canyon High School welding students are offered a new opportunity with the Texas State Technical College, providing them with hands-on experience and college credit.

Davenport High School Band Named 2027 TMEA 4A Honor Band

The Davenport High School Band has been named the 2027 Texas Music Educators Association 4A Honor Band, placing it among the most distinguished band programs in the state. This is the first school in Comal ISD and the San Antonio area to have earned this coveted title.
