ccmr CCMR Show Transcript hello I'm Kamal ISD superintendent John Chapman today I'm in 1 of our construction science labs in this lab our students learn how to use tools to design build and create learning spaces like this are at the core of an exciting new curriculum initiative that we believe will change the way our students View school during the next 5 years come out ISD will be investing and expanding on opportunities across the district you may have heard it called college career military Readiness or ccmr we will refer to it as the path to success now is a time to grow Pro and cultivate our programs to meet the needs of the 22nd century learner last spring we assembled a ccmr task force made up of students teachers community members and campus and District administrators this group evaluated the current program and made recommendations that will increase Hands-On opportunities for our kids these recommendations will give them more opportunities to earn industry-based certifications expand Middle School CTE programs and capitalize on their Partnerships with local businesses and industries in short we will be doing even more to prepare our kids for Life After High School the main goal of this new emphasis is to help our students find their path to success whether it be attending College starting a career or joining the military be on the lookout for more stories and highlights that illustrate the path to success Journey as we work to expand and grow our ccmr programs so that our students are prepared for their future
