Davenport Alum Jaidyn Soverall is interviewed fourth.

it is so crazy to think that I wore that my final game my senior year I was in the science club and I was a member of the first golf team at Canyon High School I'm proud to be alumni I've come out is Steve because of the community and support that they give us teachers and coaches that brought in to gave me the confidence to come back and have those leadership skills to pour into these kids the way I was The Graduate of kamay has impacted my life just because of the connections I've made and it makes me want to um carry myself in a in a way that represents the district as a whole I currently play football here at Trinity um and accounting major I'm a junior Here the reason I decided to run for board was I loved my experience in Co shape my own children's lives but that of 30,000 children and 3,500 staff members to just grow greatness to go out into the world to be better citizens for tomorrow so it is a true passion of mine that Comal ISD continues to go that path it's really neat knowing that a lot of these girls grew up coming to watch even last year I had a girl that graduated and she had showed me pictures and film of her sitting in the stands when I played and I thought that was super cool and she's expressed to me how maybe it is for her to play for me is it set a foundation that uh has lived me to create a very successful Family Insurance business and serve over 28 years in public office both locally and at the state level knowing that I'm part of a bigger family of an raising group of individuals and just going to school in San Antonio I often run into more alumni of Kamala SD and just getting the chance to talk to them and seeing their experiences and seeing where they are now is amazing oh my goodness it's tradition it's Pride I think something that there's no better compliment than being raised here and then coming back to have your kids have a similar experience as my own and while my heart is all Navy you better believe you'll find me with my purple Community cheering on those Warriors in night lights at the Coliseum cougar Spirit still lives in me and uh when I went to Kenyan high school we were the only High School in the district and now look at it it's 1 of the largest most prolific districts in the central Texas area both athletically and scholastically so I'm very proud of that
